# ‘Merrily We Roll Along’ receives additional extension

The revival of “Merrily We Roll Along” has extended its Broadway run again. Originally [scheduled](https://www.broadwaynews.com/merrily-we-roll-along-announces-broadway-theater-start-date-and-further-casting/) to play through Jan. 21, 2024, and later [extended](https://www.broadwaynews.com/merrily-we-roll-along-revival-extends-upcoming-broadway-run/) to March 24, the revival will now continue at the Hudson Theatre until July 7, 2024\. 

[Maria Friedman](https://www.broadwaynews.com/maria-friedmans-unwavering-vision-for-merrily-we-roll-along/) is at the helm of the production, which began previews on Sept. 19 and officially opened on Oct. 10\. The cast is led by Jonathan Groff as Franklin Shepard, Daniel Radcliffe as Charley Kringas and Lindsay Mendez as Mary Flynn.

Spanning three decades in the entertainment business, “Merrily We Roll Along” charts the turbulent relationship between composer Franklin and his two lifelong friends: writer Mary and lyricist/playwright Charley. The musical features a book by George Furth and a score by Stephen Sondheim.

Rounding out the principal cast are Krystal Joy Brown as Gussie Carnegie, Katie Rose Clarke as Beth Shepard and Reg Rogers as Joe Josephson.
