# LW Theatres launches new global advisory and venue operations division

LW Theatres has announced the launch of its new global advisory and venue operations arm, LW Partners. The new division aims to help theater owners, developers and cultural institutions create, operate and grow successful live entertainment venues. LW Partners already has a portfolio of live and in-development projects across the U.K. and international markets.

Owned by six-time Tony Award winner and Special Tony recipient Andrew Lloyd Webber, LW Theatres owns and operates six West End venues: the London Palladium, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, His Majesty’s Theatre, the Cambridge Theatre, the Gillian Lynne Theatre and the Adelphi Theatre (which is co-owned with Nederlander International Limited). LW Theatres reinvests all profits into the continued conservation and development of these venues.

Drawing on LW Theatres’ venue operations experience, LW Partners will offer clients, comprising venues and institutions around the world, on strategy and planning services and counsel on technical design, programming, marketing, ticketing, customer experience, corporate and financial strategy, technology, brand partnerships, philanthropy and organizational development.

Tee Barnes leads the new division as managing director of LW Partners. Barnes formerly served as LW Theatres’ director of commercial operations and partnerships, having spent three decades working with entertainment venues and events internationally. Barnes is joined on the LW Partners team by new hires Sandor Kiss, director of commercial strategy, and Liz Young, director of international operations.

“LW Partners has been created to work in true collaboration with clients throughout the

entire journey of a venue,” said Barnes in a statement, “from the earliest strategic decisions to opening the doors, welcoming audiences and building a sustainable operation for the long term.” 

Madeleine Lloyd Webber, LW Theatres and LW Entertainment group president, said in a statement, “LW Partners will work alongside ambitious organizations to help create the great venues and destinations of the future — venues that are technically outstanding, fit for purpose and, above all, designed around the audience and the experience of a thrilling night at the theater.” .
