# ‘Lost Boys’ songwriters the Rescues to play Le Poisson Rouge with cast members guesting

“The Lost Boys” composer-lyricists the Rescues are set to perform live on Sept. 28 at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City’s Greenwich Village. The band will play original songs, including selections from the musical, with guest performances by cast members from the show. 

“The Lost Boys” cast members set to appear are Tony Award winner Shoshana Bean, as well as LJ Benet, Dominic Dorset, Brian Flores, Pierre Marais, Dean Maupin, Hank Santos and Maria Wirries, among other surprise talent.

The Rescues are made up of Kyler England, AG and Gabriel Mann. Founded in 2008, the band has released multiple albums, including “Let Loose the Horses.” Earlier this year, the Rescues were nominated for a Tony Award for their “Lost Boys” score and orchestrations, the latter alongside Ethan Popp.

Broadway’s “The Lost Boys” is based on the 1987 film of the same name, following brothers Michael and Sam as they are drawn into the vampiric nightlife of a coastal California town. The stage adaptation opened at Broadway’s Palace Theatre on April 26, where it continues to run. “The Lost Boys” was nominated for 12 Tonys, winning four, including Bean’s aforementioned win for best featured actress.
