“Lackawanna Blues” has canceled additional Broadway performances due to the recurrence of star Ruben Santiago-Hudson’s back injury.

Performances of the one-man show are now canceled from Oct. 8 through Oct. 10, a spokesperson for the show confirmed Friday. The production had [previously cancelled](https://broadwaynews.com/2021/09/24/lackawanna-blues-on-broadway-cancels-weekend-performances-after-injury/?ref=broadwaynews.com) the Oct. 7 performance, which was intended to be the rescheduled opening night, as well as performances the weekend of Sept. 24.

The production had [rescheduled the show’s](https://broadwaynews.com/2021/09/27/lackawanna-blues-delays-broadway-press-opening/?ref=broadwaynews.com) press opening to Oct. 7 from the [initial opening date](https://broadwaynews.com/2021/05/17/lackawanna-blues-will-begin-broadway-performances-sept-14/?ref=broadwaynews.com) of Sept. 28 due to Santiago-Hudson’s injury.

Performances are expected to resume Oct. 12\. The production is scheduled to run at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre through Oct. 31.
