Kate Wetherhead, a Broadway actor and co-creator of the online series “Submissions Only,” has joined the writing team for “The Devil Wears Prada” musical.

Wetherhead will co-write the book alongside the previously announced playwright Paul Rudnick. Shapiro](https://broadwaynews.com/2019/03/13/anna-d-shapiro-to-direct-the-devil-wears-prada-musical/?ref=broadwaynews.com).

The Broadway-aimed musical [is scheduled](https://broadwaynews.com/2021/01/14/the-devil-wears-prada-musical-pushes-back-premiere-date/?ref=broadwaynews.com) to make its world premiere in Chicago in July 2022\. It is produced by Kevin McCollum and Rocket Entertainment.
