# Jordan Fisher will return as lead in ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ on Broadway

Jordan Fisher will return as the lead in “Dear Evan Hansen” when it resumes performance Dec. 11.

Fisher made the announcement Tuesday during an appearance and performance on “Good Morning America!” Additional casting for the musical, which [will return](https://broadwaynews.com/2021/05/13/dear-evan-hansen-will-reopen-on-broadway-dec-11/?ref=broadwaynews.com) to the Music Box Theatre, has yet to be announced.

Fisher, who has also starred in “Rent: Live” and “Hamilton,” was playing Evan Hansen before the Broadway shutdown on March 12, 2020.

In addition to the Broadway reopening, the London production of “Dear Evan Hansen” will reopen at the Noël Coward Theatre on Oct. 26 and the North American tour will relaunch Dec. 7 in Greensboro, N.C.
