“Hadestown” topped the Tony nominations list Tuesday with 14 nominations.

“Ain’t Too Proud” followed with 12 nominations and “Tootsie” received 11\. There were 34 eligible productions this season.

Among the surprises, neither “To Kill a Mockingbird” nor “Network” received a nomination for Best Play.

The Tony Awards ceremony will take place on June 9 at Radio City Music Hall.
