Daniel J. Watts will star [opposite Adrienne Warren](https://broadwaynews.com/2019/02/05/adrienne-warren-to-play-title-role-in-the-tina-turner-musical/?ref=broadwaynews.com) in the Broadway cast of “Tina.”

Watts, who last appeared on Broadway in “Hamilton,” will play Ike Turner. He’s joined by Dawnn Lewis, who will play Zelma, Nkeki Obi-Melekwe, who will play Tina at some performances and Myra Lucretia Taylor who will play Gran Georgeanna.

The company includes Steven Booth, Nick Rashad Burroughs, Gerald Caesar, Holli’ Conway, Kayla Davion, Leandra Ellis-Gaston, Charlie Franklin, Judith Franklin, Matthew Griffin, Sheldon Henry, David Jennings, Ross Lekites, Robert Lenzi, Gloria Manning, Rob Marnell, Mehret Marsh, Jhardon DiShon Milton, Destinee Rea, Mars Rucker, Jessica Rush, Alyssa Shorte, Carla Stewart, Jayden Theophile, Antonio Watson and Katie Webber.

Performances begin Oct. 12 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, with an opening night on Nov. 7.
