The Entertainment Community Fund (ECF) has announced the creation of the [Francine A. LeFrak Foundation Creative Entrepreneur Program](https://entertainmentcommunity.org/services-and-programs/francine-lefrak-foundation-creative-entrepreneur-program?ref=broadwaynews.com), available to performing arts and entertainment professionals as of this month. Supported by the Francine A. LeFrak Foundation, the initiative is structured as a training program for artists to become successful entrepreneurs.

Through workshops, seminars, support groups and more, the program will help artist become business owners. To be eligible, those interested must have a business idea and must have taken steps to actualize that idea. Those interested must attend a program information session, register as a participant of the ECF Career Center and complete a formal application.

“The entertainment industry is full of extraordinary talent, but it is also incredibly unpredictable,” said Francine A. LeFrak**,** president of the Francine A. LeFrak Foundation. “I supported this program because I want actors, performing artists and production professionals to recognize how deeply valuable their talent is. When the spotlight dims, their creativity doesn’t. They deserve a path to security, confidence and community. This program isn’t just about teaching business skills, it’s about unlocking entrepreneurial potential. Talent is everywhere; opportunity isn’t. My mission is to close that gap by equipping creatives with the tools to turn their talent into lasting opportunity and independence.”
