The “Diana” musical put tickets on sale Tuesday for an anticipated Broadway run starting Dec. 1.

The new musical has set an opening night date of Dec. 16 at the Longacre Theatre. In addition to the Broadway run, the show has announced a streaming date of Oct. 1, 2021 for the [Netflix capture](https://broadwaynews.com/2020/08/12/filmed-version-of-diana-musical-to-premiere-on-netflix-ahead-of-broadway-opening/?ref=broadwaynews.com) of the show [that was filmed](https://broadwaynews.com/2020/09/13/diana-begins-filming-and-cast-recording-process/?ref=broadwaynews.com) last fall.

This is one of the first Broadway shows to put tickets on sale for a planned run after the Broadway shutdown. Broadway shows are currently closed through May 30, 2021 and a resumption date has not yet been announced. However, many producers have [said the fall](https://broadwaynews.com/2021/03/30/diana-musical-sets-date-for-broadway-return-netflix-premiere/?ref=broadwaynews.com) will be a likely restart for some shows.

The Telecharge ticket prices are within the typical Broadway pricing range — amid questions on what post-pandemic ticket pricing would look like — with orchestra seats on sale for $119 to $199 and balcony seats priced from $49 to $109 after the show’s opening.

“Diana,” which [features a book and lyrics](https://broadwaynews.com/2020/01/10/diana-announces-complete-broadway-casting/?ref=broadwaynews.com) by Joe DiPietro, music and lyrics by David Bryan and direction by direction by Christopher Ashley, played nine preview performances before the March 12, 2020 Broadway shutdown.

“The chance to share our show, first with Netflix’s global audience, and then welcoming a live audience back on Broadway, is something we’ve all been dreaming about for more than a year. We could not be more thrilled to finally share both the film and the Broadway musical with the world,” producers Beth Williams, Frank Marshall and The Araca Group said in a statement.
