Zachary Noah Piser is joining the Broadway company of “Dear Evan Hansen” as the Evan alternate.

Piser, who played Evan in the Toronto production of the musical, will play his first performance at the matinee on Wed., Nov. 27, taking over the role from original Broadway cast member Michael Lee Brown.

On Oct. 22, “Dear Evan Hansen” will also welcome new cast members Christiane Noll as Cynthia Murphy, Jared Goldsmith as Jared Kleinman and Phoebe Koyabe as Alana Beck, all of whom played those roles on tour. Jessica Phillips will join the Broadway cast as Heidi Hansen, a role she also played on tour, on Nov. 26.
