Bryan Cranston won this year’s distinguished performance award from the Drama League Awards.

The Drama League, which includes off-Broadway and Broadway, selected Cranston from 53 performers this season.

At its [85th annual awards ceremony](https://broadwaynews.com/2019/04/17/drama-league-announces-2019-nominees/?ref=broadwaynews.com) on Friday, the League announced “Hadestown” for outstanding musical and “The Ferryman” for outstanding play. “Kiss Me, Kate” won for outstanding revival of a musical and “The Waverly Gallery” won for outstanding revival of a play.

Special awards were given to Kelli O’Hara for distinguished achievement in musical theater, to Alex Timbers for excellence in directing and to Taylor Mac for unique contribution to theater.
