# Broadway’s ‘Maybe Happy Ending’ will receive cast recording

Will Aronson and Hue Park’s score to the new musical [“Maybe Happy Ending”](https://www.broadwaynews.com/broadway-press-day-with-maybe-happy-ending/) will be preserved on an original [cast recording](https://www.broadwaynews.com/how-to-make-a-cast-album/). The album, from [Ghostlight Records](https://www.ghostlightrecords.com/?ref=broadwaynews.com), is scheduled to be released in spring 2025 with a specific date to be announced.

Featuring a book by Aronson and Park, “Maybe Happy Ending” stars [Darren Criss](https://www.broadwaynews.com/watch-darren-criss-discuss-returning-to-broadway-in-maybe-happy-ending/) and Helen J Shen as two Seoul-based robots searching for purpose and connection as they face obsolescence. Michael Arden directs the new musical, which [opened](https://www.broadwaynews.com/the-broadway-review-maybe-happy-ending-is-assuredly-enchanting/) on Nov. 12 at the Belasco Theatre.

The production [previously](https://www.broadwaynews.com/casting-finalized-for-broadway-bow-of-maybe-happy-ending/) released [five songs](https://www.maybehappyending.com/?ref=broadwaynews.com) from the upcoming album.

Other recent cast recordings released by Ghostlight include the 2022 Best Musical Tony Award winner [“A Strange Loop”](https://www.broadwaynews.com/a-strange-loop-to-release-original-broadway-recording-june-10/) and 2023 Best Musical winner [“Kimberly Akimbo.”](https://www.broadwaynews.com/kimberly-akimbo-to-release-original-cast-recording/)

“Maybe Happy Ending” is produced by Jeffrey Richards, Hunter Arnold, Criss, Dr. Pam Hurst-Della Pietra and Stephen Della Pietra.
