Broadway grosses showed more signs of improvement in the week ended Feb. 13.

Total grosses increased to $18.9 million, a jump of $2 million [from the previous](https://broadwaynews.com/2022/02/08/broadway-sees-upward-trend-in-capacity-grosses/?ref=broadwaynews.com) week and $3.9 million [from the week](https://broadwaynews.com/2022/02/01/broadway-grosses-fall-to-15-million-amid-winter-downturn/?ref=broadwaynews.com) before. There were 19 running productions all three weeks.

Capacity increased to 87%. This marks the highest capacity on Broadway since the week ended Sept. 26, 2021, according to a [Broadway News analysis](https://broadwaynews.com/2022/01/31/grosses-show-big-wins-for-old-brands-tougher-economics-elsewhere/?ref=broadwaynews.com) of confidential grosses.

The industry is still in the midst of Broadway Week, which has been extended through Feb. 27, and offers discounted tickets to many shows, which may have contributed to higher overall attendance. “The Music Man” hosted its star-studded opening on Feb. 10.

However, the threat of Omicron also appears to be steadily receding, with case numbers in New York county [falling 63% over](https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/us/new-york-covid-cases.html?ref=broadwaynews.com) the past 14 days. The variant had a large impact on [Broadway productions](https://broadwaynews.com/2022/02/15/leaked-grosses-show-impact-of-omicron-on-broadway/?ref=broadwaynews.com) in the preceding weeks.

The Broadway League has been publicly releasing collective totals for all Broadway shows since late October, rather than individual grosses.
