Theatrical Rights Worldwide (TRW) has announced that “Boop! The Musical” has joined its catalogue and is now available for licensing in select countries, with full availability details to come.

The musical inspired by the 1930s character Betty Boop reimagines the beloved cartoon as she leaves her black-and-white world and goes on an adventure in modern-day New York City. “Boop! The Musical” features a book by Bob Martin, music by David Foster and lyrics by Susan Birkenhead.

“‘Boop! The Musical’ delivers a wonderful opportunity for school, community and professional theaters to produce a show with amazing leading roles and fabulous ensemble parts for a large cast,” said Steve Spiegel, owner and CEO of TRW, in a statement. “Along with our [recent](https://www.broadwaynews.com/theatrical-rights-worldwide-acquires-licensing-rights-for-pirates-the-penzance-musical/) [acquisitions](https://www.broadwaynews.com/theatrical-rights-worldwide-acquires-licensing-rights-to-swept-away/) of ‘Pirates!
