# Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group appoints Lawrence Chapman as CFO

Lawrence Chapman has been named chief financial officer of Really Useful Group (RUG), Andrew Lloyd Webber’s multiple Tony Award-winning production company. According to [the Stage](https://www.thestage.co.uk/news/lloyd-webbers-lw-theatres-appoints-joint-chief-executives?ref=broadwaynews.com), Chapman continues in his long-standing role as CFO of LW Theatres, and adds RUG to his auspices.

This shift was triggered by changes to the leadership of [LW Theatres](https://lwtheatres.co.uk/?ref=broadwaynews.com), Lloyd Webber’s organization that oversees six West End theaters. Julian Arnott and Darren Atkins were appointed joint chief executives of LW Theatres. They succeed Rebecca Kane, who completed her LW tenure in 2021\. In the interim, Arnott, Atkins and Chapman led the organization together.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to announce these leadership changes, and all three are a reflection of the brilliant work done over recent years,” RUG deputy chairman [Madeleine Lloyd Webber](https://urldefense.com/v3/%5F%5Fhttps:/www.broadwayworld.com/people/Madeleine-Lloyd-Webber/%5F%5F;!!IJJ%5FvSuMmLaJ!LJvelUAfeuxQMQTLb8EaXXGrytVlQk6Nze6wREtgobdqrYBK%5Fg4HQISmv5gspS1cY5s4V%5F%5FwHIvne2Jfyg$?ref=broadwaynews.com) said in a statement. “I’m excited to see how Darren and Jules’ complementary skills can drive LW Theatres forward into its next phase of growth, and am delighted that the whole Group will now benefit from Lawrence’s astute financial leadership.”

The winner of multiple Tony Awards for Best Musical, RUG first produced on Broadway in 1982 with the original production of “Cats.” The organization was most recently represented on Broadway with “Bad Cinderella,” which closed on June 4, and “The Phantom of the Opera,” which closed on April 16 following a record-breaking 13,981 performances.
