# 2026 ‘Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction’ moves indoors

The 2026 edition of the “Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction,” taking place on Sept. 27, has been moved indoors due to anticipated inclement weather. Instead of taking place across West 44th and 45th Streets, Shubert Alley and part of Times Square, this year’s Flea Market will be held indoors at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Midtown. This relocation comes as a nor’easter is forecasted to pass through New York this weekend, potentially causing heavy rain and high winds throughout the region.

The Flea Market will still begin at 10 a.m. and end at 7 p.m. Maps of the Hammerstein Ballroom will be available on the [website](https://broadwaycares.org/pre-event/broadway-flea-market-and-grand-auction-2026/?ref=broadwaynews.com) and social media pages of Broadway Cares, the nonprofit organization that operates the Flea Market.

Apart from the location and time change, the entirety of the Broadway Flea — including market tables, live and silent auctions and the photo booth/autograph table — will proceed [as previously announced](https://www.broadwaynews.com/broadway-flea-market-and-grand-auction-sets-fall-2026-return/). According to Broadway Cares, this decision was made with the safety of volunteers and attendees in mind.

The “Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction” is an annual event during which fans can purchase merchandise, posters, stage-used props, costumes, get autographs and participate in meet-and-greets. All sales at the Flea and associated auctions benefit Broadway Cares, the grantmaking organization that provides medical, nutrition, counseling and housing services to people nationwide living with HIV/AIDS and other illnesses.
