Exclusive: Broadway Licensing Global acquires rights to ‘Jaja’s African Hair Braiding’ and ‘The Da Vinci Code’

The plays are now available for professional licensing.

Broadway Licensing Global (BLG) has acquired the rights to Jocelyn Bioh’s comedy “Jaja’s African Hair Braiding” and Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel’s drama “The Da Vinci Code.” Now available for licensing by professional theater companies, these titles join BLG’s catalog of over 8,000 titles including works by Arthur Miller, Paula Vogel, Lynn Nottage, Tennessee Williams, along with the recently acquired “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” and the 2023 Best Play Tony winner “Leopoldstadt.” The newly acquired titles will fall under the purview of Dramatists Play Service (DPS), an imprint of BLG.
